About Me

Hi, I'm Pauline Pilialoha Yap — a practicing veterinarian by day and an artist by passion.

I've spent 30 years caring for animals as a veterinarian in Hawai'i  and my love for them has never stayed just in the clinic. It spills into everything I do — including my art.

Every design in this shop starts as an original illustration I create before being digitized for printing. No mass-produced clip art, no stock images — just original artwork inspired by the animals I care for and the people who love them.

I started this shop because [your personal reason I wanted a creative outlet that celebrated the bond between people and their animals.

When I'm not in the clinic, you'll find me at the beach, communing with nature, sketching, hanging out my family (including my animals) or traveling, if I can get away. My designs are inspired by animals I interact with, nature and my introverted, nerdy and sometime sarcastic disposition.
